Surfcoast Anglican Parish held its annual Parish Summer Fête on Saturday 13th January at St Luke's in Torquay. The weather this year was cool but humid and with rain threatening.
This year we tweaked the format and layout, the band was in the church because of the threatening rain, and the morning tea was in the hall.
There were loads of home made produce, second hand books, recycled toys, the Op Shop, great BBQ'ed sausages, cakes, craftwork, an excellent morning tea, face painting and "slime" for children and lots of plants as usual.
The members of the Parish and the Op Shop volunteers once again all worked together to make another memorable fête. Thank you to everyone for your hard work before and on Fête Day. Thanks also to all the members of the public who came to support us and opened their purses and wallets.
