Welcome to the Surfcoast Anglican Parish

Our parish stretches from Torquay, at the eastern boundary to Aireys Inlet in the West, a total of 27 kilometres, along the Great Ocean Road. It is one of the larger parishes in the Diocese of Melbourne.

The parish has three centres, St Luke’s in Torquay, Church of the Transfiguration in Anglesea and St Aidan’s in Aireys Inlet, where people gather to worship God each Sunday and come together at other times for a range of activities.

The Great Ocean Road is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Victoria and when you visit the region we would be delighted to welcome you.

Each Sunday we will ring our bells once a day at Anglesea and Torquay as a reminder that we are in this experience as a community; that we are confident in God’s presence with each of us, guarding and guiding us through this time of quietness and stillness; that we are mindful of each other and in prayer for the wellbeing of all, especially those who are suffering ill health, financial stress and loneliness; that we are thankful to those who are providing for and caring for us, and for the blessings of life we often take for granted; and we are asking God that this time will pass soon.
We encourage you to pause for a moments quiet reflection or prayer when you hear the bells.

We walk together.
